2Browser side

Create instrumentation-client.ts at the project root (or in src/). Next.js 15.3 and newer load it on every page.

3Server side

Two files: the server config, and instrumentation.ts, which Next.js calls on start and on every server error.

4Content Security Policy

If your app sets a CSP, add https://in.blipit.io to connect-src. Nothing else changes: the SDK is bundled with your code, so script-src needs no new host.

5Source maps (optional)

So stack traces show your source instead of the minified bundle, upload the maps for each release with the secret key. See Releases and source maps.

6Check it works

Add a button that throws, or run this in the browser console. Open Issues in app.blipit.io. The first event appears within a few seconds, grouped into an issue, and the people in charge get an email.

Good to know

• Skip withSentryConfig in next.config: it uploads source maps to Sentry, not to Blipit.
• Plain React without Next.js: npm install @sentry/react and call Sentry.init with the same DSN before rendering.
• Lighter alternative: put the Any website script in app/layout.tsx with next/script. It gives browser errors, web vitals and replays without a package.
